KS1 Letter

Dear Parents,

We are happy to inform you that we are now accepting applications for this year’s Key Stage 1 Summer School which will be open to all primary aged children (4 –6yrs).

The Summer School will run for four weeks from Monday 28th June to Friday 23rd July from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00p.m. every day (Mon – Fri). Each week’s programme will follow a theme and each day’s activities will be based around that.

Each day’s activities will include:

- Sports/Games (both outside and indoor)

- Art/Craft activities

- Language activities centred around the week’s particular themes

- Baking ( at least once a week)

- Time for free play

All the activities will be conducted in English so there will be plenty of opportunity to develop and improve language skills. Our aim is that the children will have the opportunity to interact and improve their language and social skills in a secure and caring environment.

In order to enrol please fill in the application form which can be downloaded from the Junior School web site http://www.thejuniorschool.com (or obtained from the school office) and return it to Mrs Georgiou’s office, (Mon - Thurs only).

We are looking forward to four fun-filled weeks with your children. Numbers are limited to keep a low teacher/child ratio, so reserve your child’s place now. To avoid disappointment please return your application form as soon as possible.
