We are pleased to inform you that due to the continuous growth of our School we are re-opening the applications for:-
Year One 2010
Reception 2011
Pre-Reception 2012
There are also a few vacancies in older year groups for 2010.
Please note that as we are currently oversubscribed no more applications will be accepted for:
Pre-Reception 2011
Please see below Key Stage One Admissions Policy
Applications for admissions to Year 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 should be completed as soon as possible.
Entry to the school is normally at the beginning of the school year in September, but some children are admitted throughout the year, according to availability of places.
Applications for children from
overseas should be accompanied by a recent school
report, together with the results of standardized
tests. A child will be interviewed and assessed
in English and mathematics prior to being offered
a place. If a place cannot be offered because
the class is full, the child`s name may be entered
on the waiting list.
Priority is given to siblings of children who are already in school and those whose parents intend to transfer their children to our Senior School (www.theseniorschool.com)
The acceptance of a place offered must be confirmed by payment of the registration fee, which is non refundable. For children entering the school in September, fees for the first term must be paid by the end of the preceding June.
You may contact our Admissions' Officer, Christie Kasapi on 0035722 664855, Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 2pm for more details regarding admissions.
An application can be completed on-line.

The Junior School’s Key Stage One Admissions Policy
Our principal points of entry into The Junior School are at:
• Pre-Reception. Candidates should be 3 years and 8 months by September 1st in their year of entry.
• Reception. Candidates should be 4 years and 8 months by September 1st in their year of entry.
Children can enter the school at other points i.e. Year 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 but this depends entirely on availability of places.
Admission to The Junior School is by assessment. The assessment procedure is outlined below.
Applications for admissions to the Pre-Reception and Reception classes are accepted on a first come first served basis, so early applications are advisable. However, it is not possible to accept all applications for assessment since there are practical limits to the number of children whom we can properly meet and assess.
(Please note, applications which were made prior to our updated Admissions Policy - April 2009, have all been accepted and all the applicants will be assessed.)
Priority will be given to siblings of children who are already in school (i.e. The Junior School and The Senior School), provided that they meet our selection criteria.
We also believe it is fair only to offer places to children who intend to transfer to our Senior School.
We strongly advise you to visit the school before making an application. Please call our Admission’s Officer, Mrs. Christie Kasapi who will be happy to arrange a tour of the school for you.
Assessment Procedure
The assessments for Pre-Reception and Reception candidates take place in the January of the year of entry.
Assessment for Pre-Reception and Reception involves all Early Years staff. Each child is assessed individually. A range of activities and tasks are undertaken in order to give a comprehensive profile of attainment and aptitude. A report from the previous nursery/school is also a requirement which should include comments on the child’s academic and social achievements. (These can be in Greek or English.) The areas we look at include social, manipulative, mathematical and language skills.
During the assessment time we aim to maintain a warm and relaxed atmosphere so that the children need not feel anxious.
Parents will be invited to wait in the school hall where food and drinks will be on offer.
Selection Committee
After the assessment the selection committee, made up of the Early Years’ staff, the
Admission’s Officer, the KS1 Headteacher and the Principal, will convene to decide collectively to whom offers will be made.
Offers are made within two weeks of the assessment with a deadline date for acceptance.
The acceptance of a place offered must be confirmed by payment of the registration fee, which is non refundable. For children entering the school in September, fees for the first term must be paid by the preceding May, at which time the Admissions package should also be collected from the school.
The School reserves the right to amend its Admission Policy at any time.
